Restoration in Action

We’re proud to support a transformative kelp restoration project on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia, Canada. Working in collaboration with Coastal Kelp and the Sechelt First Nations through our trusted B Corp partner Carma. Innovative techniques are being used to seed bull kelp and sugar kelp, producing millions of kelp sporophytes on a mix of line and green gravel. This project not only revives dwindling kelp forests but also bolsters local fisheries, ecosystem services, and Indigenous community livelihoods.
